Macy’s Inc. will break 155 years of tradition this Thanksgiving as the department store operator will open at least some of its stores at 8 p.m. on the holiday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
The Cincinnati-based retailer would be joining a growing list of retailers who extended “Black Friday” sales into Thanksgiving.
A Macy’s spokeswoman told the Sun-Times the company is set to announce its Thanksgiving plans this week.
