WASHINGTON – A suspect has been named in a Sept. 3 incident where a man was caught opening fire on a group of men in Beltsville, Md.
Police in Prince George’s County have an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Charles Obutu. Obutu, who is also of Beltsville, faces reckless endangerment and handgun charges for the non-contact shooting.

WASHINGTON – A man opened fire on a group of men outside a Beltsville, Md., strip mall early Tuesday, and the shooting was caught on surveillance video.
“We’re hoping someone can identify this guy,” Prince George’s County Police Officer Nicole Hubbard tells ABC7.
Prince George’s County police say no one was wounded when the man got out of what’s described as a blue, four-door sedan and started shooting at about 1:20 a.m. at the Maryland Farms shopping center in the 11400 block of Cherry Hill Road.
Police want information on the shooter, and they want to speak with the victims who ran from the scene.
