WASHINGTON – Fans of the “Today” show can get an up-close look at the show’s set when it comes to the Newseum.
The NBC morning show posted on Twitter Friday that pieces of the set will make their way to D.C.’s Newseum.
Last week, “Today” announced it would replace the set in Studio 1A and debut an entirely new set in September, according to The Huffington Post.
The tweet did not specify which pieces of the set will be in the museum, located at 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW.
The “Today” set will join another part of NBC history, as the Newseum is home to now-deceased “Meet the Press” moderator Tim Russert’s office.
Some pieces of the TODAY set are being sent to the @Newseum in Washington, DC.
