WASHINGTON – The Arlington County police on Monday arrested a man they say has been involved in several peeping-Tom incidents, and they’re looking for other victims to come forward.
Police say in a statement that Michael Tomlin, 48, hid inside a stall in the ladies’ room of a movie theater and looked over the wall at a girl in the next stall.
Tomlin allegedly ran off when the girl’s father confronted him, but the police found him Tuesday on North Carlin Springs Road. He was charged with trespassing and violating the state’s “peeping Tom” law. He’s being held on a $5,000 secured bond at the Arlington County Detention Facility.
The police say this isn’t Tomlin’s first offense. They say he just got out of jail in May for similar offenses, and the police have tied him to three other peeping-Tom incidents in the county.
They ask anyone who has been victimized by Tomlin, or has any relevant information, to call 703-228-4185 or email investigations@arlingtonva.us. To report information anonymously, call 866-411-8477.
