WTOP – ROLLING STONES CALL IN TO WIN CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES

1. HOW TO ENTER/HOW THE WINNER IS CHOSEN: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

This is a “listen and win” contest. The contest will run Monday through Friday May 13-17, 2013. Listen to WTOP Radio at 103.5 FM, 103.9 FM or 107.7 FM in the 7 am hour Monday, the 5 pm hour Tuesday, the 6 am hour Wednesday, the 12 pm hour Thursday and the 4pm hour Friday during the contest, and listen for the station to play an excerpt of a song by The Rolling Stones and the announcement to “be caller 10 now.” After the announcers play the excerpt and inform listeners to call, listeners must call the contest line at 855-885-1035. The phone lines will be cleared until the announcers say it is time to call. Upon that time, the 10th caller at 855-885-1035 will win 2 tickets to see The Rolling Stones June 24 at the Verizon Center in DC. (date subject to change pending NHL playoff schedule). A total of one (1) prize consisting of two tickets will be awarded each day. Rolling Stone song bites occurring during any contest promotional announcements do not count as a listener’s chance to call in; listeners are only eligible to call in to participate in this contest when the song except occurs by itself and the announcers say it is the contest time, not in conjunction with a promotional announcement. WTOP will not accept collect calls.

WTOP is not responsible for delays attributable to webcasting, telephone line unavailability, busy signals on the contest line, operator interference, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the phone call, telephone system malfunctions, or any other telephone problems which may or may not result from this contest.

Limit: one winner per household. Note that webcasts of WTOP’s programming are typically on a delayed basis, which may affect a webcast listener’s ability to participate in this contest.

2. PRIZES: There is 1 (one) winner each day Monday through Friday during the contest time frame. Total of five (5) prizes will be awarded. Prize value is a minimum of $ 200.

3. CLAIMING A PRIZE: Prizes sent via federal express to winners unless otherwise stated. WTOP is not responsible for lost or undelivered prizes sent to a winner. If requested, each winner must prove he or she is a qualified winner by presenting identification acceptable to WTOP (e.g., state driver’s license; state issued identification card; valid passport with address verification; or birth certificate with social security card and photo identification and address verification). If a winner cannot prove he or she is a qualified winner, the prize will not be awarded. Tickets will not be available to send to winners until June of 2013. Actual seat location of tickets is up to the discretion of AEG Concert Promoter who is providing tickets to WTOP. All unclaimed prizes remain the property of WTOP. Prizes will not be issued to winners unless a social security number is presented.

A qualified winner must also meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 4 of these rules. The winners are responsible for all applicable income taxes. All federal, state and local laws apply. A 1099 form will be submitted to all appropriate taxing authorities for prizes valued at or accumulating a total of $600 or more.

4. ELIGIBILITY: Individuals must be 18 years or older and residents of Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia or Washington, D.C. Limit, one winner per household. In order to be eligible to win a prize in this contest, you cannot have won any prize or combination of prizes with a total stated value of $600.00 or more from WTOP within 365 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this contest. These restrictions apply even if you reject the prize. Employees of Hubbard Radio Washington, LLC, Hubbard Radio, LLC, WTOP, or other radio stations in WTOP’s DMA, or any of their subsidiaries, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. Anyone participating in this contest or claiming a prize in this contest in violation of these rules will be disqualified from winning a prize in this contest and from participating in WTOP contests for a period of one year.

5. RELEASE; CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS, VOICE AND ADDRESS: Winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility. Each winner (a) agrees to release Hubbard Radio, LLC, Hubbard Radio Washington, LLC, Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. and WTOP (including their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies) from any and all liability, claims, damages and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the awarding or acceptance of the prize(s), and/or misuse of any prize, or to participation in the contest or in prize-related activities, including any travel related thereto, and (b) consents to the use by WTOP for promotional purposes, of his or her likeness, voice (and/or address (city/state) without any additional compensation. Participants in this contest agree to receive promotional information and newsletters from WTOP only. By participating in this contest, each participant agrees to the application of these official rules.

6. WINNERS: Winners will be identified on the air on 103.5 FM, 103.9 FM, and 107.7 FM During the contest time frame.

7. MISCELLANEOUS:

Decisions of WTOP concerning any and all matters with respect to this contest shall be final. Contest void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. WTOP reserves the right to change the prize values at any time. WTOP is not responsible for printing errors in the contest materials or these rules. WTOP is not responsible for telephone line unavailability, busy signals on the contest line, operator interference, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the phone call, telephone system malfunctions, or any other telephone problems which may or may not result from this contest.
