WASHINGTON – Tom Willis threw the ceremonial first pitch during the Orioles game against the Kansas City Royals at Camden Yards Wednesday evening — with his foot.
Willis, a D.C. native and University of Maryland graduate who was born with no arms, has had some practice pitching with his feet, according to The Baltimore Sun. Wednesday’s game was the 20th stop on his national “Pitch for Awareness” tour, as he hits up major league games to show what people with disabilities can do.
