WASHINGTON – A bit of Hollywood is back in the nation’s capital this week. A Captain America movie is being shot near the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum.
Tractor-trailers, white tents and police cars were lined up along Independence Avenue on Tuesday.
The tents are for background actors, costume and makeup. Dressing room trailers are parked on nearby streets.
The movie’s working title is “Freezer Burn,” which is apparently a fake cover for the real title, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” which arrives in April 2014.
Stars include Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson.
D.C. says casting for the movie is taking place through this Thursday.
