WASHINGTON – A 17-year-old is in the hospital Monday morning after being shot in the District.
Metropolitan Police say that two suspects in a red, two-door car pulled up to the boy on Valley Avenue in Southeast just before midnight Sunday and fired multiple shots at him.
The teenager was hit in the leg and back but is conscious and breathing.
The suspects fled the scene.
