Capital Bikeshare sets record high

WASHINGTON – Capital Bikeshare hit a new high Saturday.

The bikesharing system hit 11,368 rides on Saturday. They tweeted the news Sunday morning:

Capital Bikeshare launched in D.C. in August 2008. It has since expanded to include Arlington County and Alexandria with more than 1,670 bikes and more than 175 stations.
