WASHINGTON – He’s only 7, but this Prince William County kid is already getting his big break in Hollywood.

First grader Adrian Fucito has a supporting role in the movie “Bad Parents,” a comedy about obsessive soccer parents.

Adrian, who was 5 when he began filming the movie, says he had a lot of fun in the process – but he’s not letting the fame go to his head.

“He doesn’t go around bragging about it,” explains Paul Fucito, Adrian’s father. “People will ask, ‘Are you in a movie?’ and he’ll be like, ‘Yeah.'”

Adrian’s mom, Britt Fucito says even though Adrian has a small role in “Bad Parents,” he did some improvising – something that does not surprise her.

During one scene in the movie, Adrian wraps himself around co-star Janeane Garofalo’s leg and the actress, who plays Adrian’s mother on screen, drags him.

“Adrian seems a lot older than he is and some of the things that come out of his mouth are pretty funny,” Britt says. “He definitely has that creativity.”

Adrian says the best part of being a Hollywood star is “being funny and eating candy.” However, he is having some difficulty convincing his classmates at Triangle Elementary School that he is in a movie.

Paul says Adrian has been making movies since he was 4 using an iPad, smart phone or old camcorder. He also says Adrian is interested in other subject, such as science.

For now, “Bad Parents” is being shown around the country in limited venues. The only screening in the D.C. area will take place on March 21 in Alexandria at the AMC Hoffman 22 Theater.
