WASHINGTON – For many, Valentine’s Day means flowers, chocolates and a romantic dinner. But at the National Museum of Crime and Punishment, Valentine’s Day means handcuffs.
This weekend, the museum will hold its popular event, “Crimes of Passion.” Upon entering the museum, couples will be bound in handcuffs for the duration of the three-floor tour.
In addition to the 600-plus exhibits regularly featured at the museum, the event will also feature special exhibit boards explaining various crimes of passion, many of which took place in the D.C. area.
“Crimes of Passion” will take place on Feb. 16 from 4 until 9 p.m. Admission is $45 per couple and the fee includes the handcuffs.
