WASHINGTON – An Annapolis woman has been charged with killing her 2-year-old daughter.
The Capital Gazette reports police have charged Chelsea Michelle Booth, 25, with first- and second-degree murder and first-degree child abuse resulting in death.
Neighbors called police Wednesday and reported Booth’s daughter, Kassidey, had not been seen for days.
The Gazette reports that police determined Booth had killed Kassidey earlier in the week and disposed of her body, following interviews with her and family members and after gathering evidence.
Police had not recovered the girl’s body as of Thursday morning.
