WASHINGTON – Road closures and crowded Metro stations are encouraging some inauguration participants to commute to the weekend’s festivities on two wheels.
For those choosing to take to a bike this weekend, Advocacy Coordinator for the Washington Area Bicyclist Association Greg Billing offers some advice.
The DC Department of Transportation will set up bike parking at 16th and I streets NW. These parking stations can accommodate up to 700 bikes; bring your own lock.
