WASHINGTON – The Washington Nationals saw their dreams of a World Series championship end with a crushing 9-7 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals in game 5 of the National league Divisional Series on Friday night at Nats Park.
Despite coming up short in the playoffs, the team had a great season winning 98 games and finishing with the best record in the game.
