WASHINGTON – The Washington Nationals finished the season with a 5-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday afternoon at Nationals Park. As a result the team finished with the best record in the game at 98-64 and have secured home field throughout the post season.
The Nats will play the winner of the Wild Card game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves on Sunday night.
