WASHINGTON – For couples in love and preparing to marry, the routine usually goes like this: Get engagement photos taken, then wedding photos.
But an increasing number of photographers are being hired to do something extra special in between.
Brides-to-be are sneaking off for sexy boudoir photo-shoots.
The pictures – ranging from simply suggestive to downright naughty – are compiled into albums women can give their husbands as wedding gifts.
Texas wedding photographer Lynn Michelle tells The Daily that due to demand, she now specializes in boudoir sessions.
Some brides like to be photographed in items from their man’s closet. A photographer in Boston says one bride whose husband enjoys fishing posed in nothing but his waders.
A newlywed in New York says her shoot was a treat for herself, something she can look at fondly when she’s a grandmother.
