LAUREL, Md. – Homeowners in parts of Prince George’s County may continue to experience low- or no water pressure as the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission fixes a 16-inch water main that burst.
WSSC began investigating the water pressure problem after receiving hundreds of calls from residents in Cheverly, Hyattsville and Capital Heights early Wednesday.
WSSC says it took several hours to locate the break in the 61-year-old pipe because it occurred in an industrial park in the 5600 block of Columbia Park Road in Hyattsville.
Crews are making the repairs, but WSSC has not said how long they will take.
