Voluptuous lingerie clerk fired for being ‘too hot’ (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – Apparently at least one lingerie store doesn’t want busty staffers.

Lauren Odes, the voluptuous blonde who used to work at Native Intimates in New York City, was allegedly fired for her overly good looks. The 29-year-old tells the New York Post the Orthodox Jewish owners of the Fifth Avenue wholesalers asked her to “tape down” her breasts, and eventually fired her because she was “just too hot.”

Now she’s filing an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission suit against the owners.

“I was working in a business that is not a synagogue but is instead selling thongs with hearts that are placed in the female genitalia area and boy shorts for women that say ‘Hot’ in the buttocks area,” she said Monday. “Given their business product, I don’t understand why I would be told I was ‘just too hot.'”

Odes started working at the company after she was assigned there by a temp agency as a data entry clerk.

Native Intimates declined to comment to the Post.

Lawyer Gloria Allred has backed Odes’ complaint, and told reporters on Monday the company’s treatment of the former employee is “ironic” given their mechandise.

“No woman should be told that her breasts are too large, her body too appealing and her appearance too attractive for the male leadership of that company,” Allred said.
