WASHINGTON – Animal control came to the rescue in Columbia, Md. today when it rescued a set of ducklings that were separated from their mother.
The mother duck was first spotted quacking and frantically circling a drainage sewer on the side of a road at the Mall in Columbia, according to the Howard County Government’s Facebook page.
A passerby called Howard County Animal Control who quickly responded to the scene, carefully fishing the ducklings out of the sewer while the mother duckling stood by and waited.
