LINTHICUM, Md. – A prostitution ring operating out of a hotel room near BWI Thurgood Marshall airport was busted by police this week, and a 19-year-old is being called the ringleader.
Anne Arundel County police say Shkoyia Michelle Lomack, of Sacremento, Calif, was arrested Tuesday night for running a prostitution ring that housed women from California in hotels near the airport.
Police say they received an anonymous tip of a woman using hotels in the area to house prostitutes, and the department’s vice squad says they found online ads that were used as a front for the business.
ABC 7 reports police have been investigating prostitution in the area around the hotel for months.
