WASHINGTON – A Metro bus driver caught on video driving a bus at with just two fingers on his right hand will be disciplined appropriately, Metro tells the Washington Examiner.
In the video, obtained by the newspaper, a bus rider captured the driver steering the bus with one hand. At one point, the driver uses two fingers of one hand, and periodically no hands.
Metro spokesman Philip Stewart tells the Examiner bus drivers are not required to use both hands, but are trained to use both hands.
At one point, the passenger video taping the driver asks “Excuse me. Can I ask why you’re not driving with both hands on the wheel?”
