WASHINGTON – We’ve had a mild winter and spring seems closer by the day, but that doesn’t mean we are out of the woods when it comes to the flu.
Actually, flu season is in full swing and it’s not going to end any time soon.
“I think the numbers have started to pick up,” Dr. John Dooley, a primary care physician with Foxhall Internists in D.C. “The season will probably continue for another couple of months.
Dooley says it is shaping up to be a fairly light flu season, in large part because so many people got vaccinated well in advance.
