Registered voters in Frederick County will begin receiving the new Voter Notification Cards this week, according to a press release from the Frederick County Board of Elections.
Frederick County was recently divided into parts of two Congressional districts, the 6th and the 8th, so all voters will receive new card indicating their current district. Some voters will also see a change in their polling place since the 2010 elections.
Voters can check their current voter registration information here.
“It is important for voters to carefully review all the information on their card. If any of the information on the card is incorrect – name, address, or party affiliation – there is still time for the voter to notify our office so we can make a change before the March 13 deadline, which is also the deadline to register to vote for the Primary Election,” said Stuart Harvey, the County’s Election Director.
