WASHINGTON — A sexy political advertisement in Russia has got some voters angry — not because of it’s racy content, but because it suggests voting is team effort.
The promo for Vladimir Putin, Russia’s prime minister, shows a man following an attractive woman into a ballot box, where, promptly after the booth curtain closes, the pair’s clothes can be seen dropping to the floor. The screen soon flashes to a message, “Let’s Do It Together,” according to the Daily Mail.
Putin, who served as Russia’s president from 2000 to 2008, announced in September he is running for a third, non-consecutive term in 2012.

The Dail Mail reports the ad was produced by the United Russia Party to try and woo web-savvy, younger voters.
But the ad has stirred some controversy in the country because by law, as in America, voting must be done privately.
