WASHINGTON — Protests in Charlotte, North Carolina, started Tuesday and continued into Wednesday, following a police-involved shooting death of a local black man. A prayer vigil Wednesday evolved into a chaotic march. One man was shot during the protest and is now on life support, officials say.
