Police: ‘Multiple victims’ in shooting at Louisiana theater

WASHINGTON – Police in Lafayette, Louisiana say there are “multiple victims” after a shooting at a theater Thursday night.

An ambulance official tells the Associated Press that two people are dead, including a gunman.

Police say the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. At this time, the severity of the injuries is unclear.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal says, on Twitter, that he is on his way to Lafayette.
