WASHINGTON – The world’s highest-paid actresses took home a bundle in the past 12 months – though it wasn’t nearly as much as their male counterparts.
The list, released by Forbes on Thursday, puts Jennifer Lawrence at the top with $52 million, leaving second-ranked Scarlett Johansson in the dust. The surprise may be Chinese actress Bingbing Fan, whose endorsement with Chopard and L’Oreal count heavily, Forbes says, along with her role in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
The top four women made more than $20 million, Forbes reports; the top 21 men each cleared that bar.
