There’s another bear on the loose: There have been reports of a black bear spotted in Rockville, Maryland’s Horizon Hill neighborhood.

Tuesday’s sighting comes days after a large black bear was caught in Northeast D.C. and released back into the wild, and two months after a black bear was caught in Montgomery County.

Rockville police said the animal was seen on Sunrise Drive and Pine Court around 6 a.m. Tuesday, and a caller told WTOP it was also spotted near Crest View Drive.

Anyone who sees the animal, police say, should stay alert, calm and maintain their distance.

Officers are working with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources to track sightings and ask anyone who spots the bear to call police.
