WASHINGTON — Police have released the identity of the man found dead in his Montgomery County house Wednesday and say marijuana was found in the residence, too.
On Thursday, Montgomery County police said 35-year-old Ethan Villemez was found dead in the house in the 600 block of Winona Court Wednesday evening. Police say Villemez’s brother went to the house after he was unable to contact him and found Villemez in the foyer.
Villemez’s brother called 911 and responding emergency crews pronounced Villemez dead.
Police say they found marijuana growing in the house and found chemicals commonly associated with the manufacture of other drugs. The chemicals and other evidence of drugs were removed from the home and there is no risk to the public, police say.
Officials have not released any additional details about Villemez’s death or its cause. No foul play is suspected, police say.
According to family, Villemez had long-term health issues.
