3 charged in connection with Sterling teen’s death appear in court

WASHINGTON — All three people charged in connection with the shooting death of Park View High School student Danny Centeno Miranda appeared in Loudoun County courtrooms Tuesday.

The 17-year-old charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of Centeno Miranda appeared in juvenile court and the details of that proceeding are sealed. Commonwealth’s Attorney Jim Plowman said this weekend that he wants to move the boy’s case to adult court.

Henry Ernesto Dominguez Vasquez, 20, and Juan Moises Aguirre Zelaya, 18, both of Sterling, face charges of accessory after the fact and possession of a gun by a person who is not a U.S. citizen.

The commonwealth’s attorney’s office says a judge decided Tuesday to hold the two men without bond. A preliminary hearing in their case is scheduled for Nov. 5.
