WASHINGTON — Which celebrities do you think would make good next-door neighbors? And which well-known figure would you least like to see move in next to you?
The real estate and rental-market website Zillow’s annual survey asked 1,000 Americans whom they considered the worst celebrity neighbor of 2015, and the most desirable neighbor for 2016.
Pop star Taylor Swift was the leading choice for most desirable neighbor; her 12 percent of the vote edged out actress Jennifer Lawrence’s 11 percent. Comedian Amy Schumer took third, at 9 percent.
As for the worst next-door neighbor of 2015, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump paced the field, topping the duo of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West by 24 percent to 22 percent.
It should be noted, however, that Trump also finished fourth in the most-desirable-neighbor poll, with 7 percent. Swift tied for sixth-least desirable neighbor, at 2 percent, with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
That said, Zillow points out that 34 percent of respondents said they wouldn’t want to live next to any of the celebrities on the most-desirable list.
