WASHINGTON — The first mansion Donald Trump bought in Greenwich, Connecticut can now be yours — for the low, low price of $54 million.
According to Top Ten Real Estate Deals , back in 1982 with his first wife, Ivana, for $10 million. At the time, Ivana was remodeling the Plaza Hotel, and used a lot of the same materials to decorate the home. The couple divorced in 1991 and Ivana won the mansion in the settlement.
In 1998, she sold the nearly 20,000 square-foot home for $15 million. The new owners renovated in 2000, adding several amenities, such as a tennis court, guest suits, a lap pool and a sauna. They also added 4,000 square feet to the estate.
The house has been on the market since March, according to Business Insider .
The home has eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It sits on 5.8 acres of waterfront property on a peninsula surrounded by the Long Island Sound.
