WASHINGTON — A teen boy is recovering at the hospital after being stabbed in Northwest D.C. Tuesday.
D.C. police said the 13-year-old boy was stabbed by another student shortly before 1 p.m. in the 2000 block of Wisconsin Avenue near the British International School.
It’s unclear if the stabbing happened on school grounds.
The victim was conscious when taken to the hospital and police said he did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
The suspect — a teen girl — stayed on the scene, but police said she was not taken into custody due to diplomatic immunity. Police said they would consult with the D.C. District Attorney’s office as well as the State Department about potential criminal charges.
