WASHINGTON — A fire broke out on the roof of Fulbright Hall on George Washington University’s campus Tuesday morning.
D.C. Battalion Chief Robert Callahan said all the students were evacuated from the apartment building, and no one was injured.
He said the fire broke out around 3:15 a.m. and was under control within half an hour.
The fire did not displace any students from their dorm rooms, and they are returning to the building.
The cause of the blaze at 2223 H Street, NW, remains under investigation.
