WASHINGTON – A skinny, long tree briefly blocked traffic in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 before Dumfries, Virginia, Thursday morning.
Highway crews sawed through the tree to remove it in pieces just before lunchtime.
Traffic was initially getting by the cleanup on the left shoulder. But about 12 p.m. all lanes had reopened.
