WASHINGTON — Glassdoor’s list of the top 100 CEOs in 2018 in the U.S. includes four bosses at companies headquartered in the D.C. area.
The list comes out each year and is based on input from employees who voluntarily provide anonymous feedback by completing a company review about their CEO’s leadership, along with insight into their job, work environment and employer over the past year.
The rankings are based on approval ratings determined by the percentage of employees who give their CEO a favorable review.
Christopher Nassetta, CEO of McLean, Virginia-based Hilton Worldwide, ranks highest locally at No. 51 on the list.
Richard Fairbank, CEO of McLean-based Capital One Financial, ranks No. 64.
Wesley “Wes” Bush, CEO at Falls Church, Virginia-based Northrop Grumman, is No. 75 on this year’s Glassdoor list.
Rounding out the list locally is Cutler Dawson, CEO at Vienna, Virginia-based Navy Federal Credit Union at No. 76.
Several CEOs at companies that have a large presence in the D.C. area, but that are not headquartered here, are also on the list.
