WASHINGTON — Arlington, Virginia-based co-working space provider MakeOffices, founded in 2012, has opened its newest location at 2201 Wisconsin Ave, NW, in D.C.’s Glover Park neighborhood.

It is MakeOffices’ 14th location, most of which are in Washington.

“It is the most residentially-located MakeOffices space to-date, yet serves as a creative hub for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups coming out of nearby Georgetown and American University,” said MakeOffices CEO Zach Wade.

“We think its ‘surban’ position also offers greater connectivity for the neighborhood’s remote workers who seek alternatives to their home offices,” said Wade, making a play on the words suburban and urban.

The Glover Park location has 57 private offices, 40 bullpen desks, four conference rooms, four team rooms, five audio-visual booths, eight call rooms, two wellness rooms, a relaxation room with two massage chairs and a designated recording room.

It also has on-site parking.

Private offices start at $600 a month, and open desk space starts at $250 a month. There is also a Virtual Office membership that is $75 a month, and includes a mailing address and two hours of conference room time.

D.C. architectural firm Gensler designed the space.

MakeOffices members have access to the company’s eight other Washington locations at K Street, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Bethesda, Reston Town Center, Clarendon, Tysons and its other most-recently opened location at The Wharf.

They also have access to its five other locations in Chicago and Philadelphia.
