WASHINGTON — CVS will bring your prescriptions directly to you with same-day delivery in D.C.
CVS starts same-day delivery in Manhattan Dec. 4. Starting early next year, it will add D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, Miami and San Francisco to the list.
CVS will also roll out next-day delivery in other cities nationwide starting early next year.
“Our goal is to meet the needs of all of our customers wherever, however and whenever they want,” said Helena Foulkes, executive vice president of CVS Health and president of CVS Pharmacy. “Providing same and next-day options for delivery of medications is just another way we can help our patients get and stay healthy.”
The CVS delivery also includes its “front of the store” retail merchandise in Washington.
The company is expanding its partnership with Instacart to offer personal shopping at 2,600 CVS Pharmacy stores across the country, including over-the-counter medicines, beauty products and food items.
