WASHINGTON — Health information technology company MicroHealth will nearly double its workforce and invest $395,000 to expand its headquarters in Vienna, Virginia.
The 6-year-old company has about 70 employees now. The expansion will include the addition of 65 new jobs.
MicroHealth, founded in 2006, was ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of “America’s Fastest-Growing Companies” in 2016 with three-year revenue growth of 135 percent. The company had $5.1 million in revenue in 2015.
MicroHealth also makes Inc.’s “Best Places to Work” list.
In addition to generous benefits, Inc. said the company’s headquarters includes a TV and game room for employees to take a break and clear their minds when needed. The kitchen includes snacks, lunch options, juices, soda and water.
Inc. also said executives are heavily involved with day-to-day operations and are accessible to employees.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership is supporting MicroHealth’s job creation through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program, with consulting, funding and assistance with employee training.
