Tracy Johnke joined WTOP News as a reporter following stints at Bloomberg Radio, MarketWatch Radio, Associated Press Radio, CBS Radio… and WTOP, which in the mid-1990s introduced her to the immediacy and impact of 24/7 live and local news.
Tracy grew up in a Montana farming community that’s so remote, newspapers are delivered a day or two late, and wired broadband is scheduled to reach her family’s ranch in 2028.
She is a graduate of the University of Montana-Missoula and American University, and lives in D.C. with her husband and son.
