Jared Ruderman is a News Director at WTOP.

He has been in the news industry for over 15 years. Before joining WTOP, he worked for Audacy DC and WBAL Radio in Baltimore.

His passion for journalism started in the fifth grade when he looked through the New York Times for current events day.

Jared was born in New Jersey (don’t hold it against him), graduated from Towson University (go Tigers!), and moved to the D.C. area in 2012.

He now lives with his wife and son in Montgomery County.
