WASHINGTON — April the giraffe’s loyal band of live streamers and 26,700 or so Twitter followers continue to await any signs of a calf baby.
For over two months, April’s fans have been monitoring the progress of the giraffe’s pregnancy through Harpursville, New York’s Animal Adventure Park’s live stream.
With all the waiting around, viewers were left to peruse April’s website, her GoFundMe page, the giraffe’s apparel line, her Twitter feed and Facebook page for updates.
The zoo also set up a text alert system for those who want to step away from their computer screens for a bit.
