1 dead, 3 hurt in crash in Virginia’s Chesterfield County

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (AP) — Police in Virginia are investigating a car crash in which one person died and three others were injured.

Police in Chesterfield County say the crash happened Thursday night in the 17300 block of Branders Bridge Road. Police say the driver of a Honda Civic was driving north and crossed into the southbound lane where he struck a Nissan Altima.

Police say the Honda’s driver died of his injuries. Police identified him as Jeffery Anthony Jr. of Chesterfield. Police say two passengers in his vehicle were hospitalized, one with life-threatening injuries. Police say the driver of the Altima was also hospitalized but with non-life-threatening injuries.
