WASHINGTON – A fatal shooting is under investigation in Stafford, Virginia.
According to a news release from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 3 p.m. Feb. 15, 2015 in the Garrionsville Road area, where a Wings to Go Restaurant is located. Deputies said the shooting happened in the restaurant’s parking lot.
The Sheriff’s Office said it appears two vehicles were involved in an incident where gunfire was exchanged. One male, who had gotten out of a vehicle, was fatally shot.
Two others in a second vehicle were also shot. Deputies said the two who were wounded fled the scene, and went to a hospital. They are currently being treated for their injuries.
