A look at living with the consequences
You criticized Newt Gingrich for not having his campaign organized because the proper number of petitions were not filed in Virginia.
WTOP and Reuters ( http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/12/28/us-usa-campaign-gingrich-virginia-idUSTRE7BR1EB20111228 ) have reported that Gingrich has revealed that the reason he fell short was that a person contracted by the campaign submitted some 1500 fraudulent signatures. If this proves to be the case, I think you owe Mr, Gingrich an apology. He thought, reasonably, that he had more than enough signatures. Perhaps you can criticize him for not vetting all of the people hired to collect petitions, but a little thought should dispel that complaint as unreasonable.
