WASHINGTON — Fiona, this week’s Pet of the Week, is all about the love.
So social, so sweet and so enthusiastic, this small shih tzu mix is eager to find a new home. At 6 years old, Fiona still seems to have a lot of “puppy” in her.
She loves being held and likes nothing more than a nice warm lap to curl up in. She’s also a big fan of walks and fun.
Her black and white coat was unkempt and long when she arrived at the Washington Animal Rescue League, but a nice “summertime” haircut has Fiona ready for action.
The shih tzu is a small breed, so Fiona will be perfectly happy with either a small apartment or a house. And with all of our dogs that are 5 years or older, adopters over the age of 50 will have their adoption fee waived, as part of our Boomer Buddies program.
Stop by the Washington Animal Rescue League to meet Fiona today!
