The Coral Gables, Florida-based company said it had profit of $2.33 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $2.54 per share.
The truck leasing company posted revenue of $3.13 billion in the period.
For the current quarter ending in June, Ryder expects its per-share earnings to range from $3.50 to $3.75.
The company expects full-year earnings in the range of $14.05 to $14.80 per share.
