Three men shot on street in Suitland, Md., Friday night

WASHINGTON –Three men are in the hospital this morning after a shooting in Suitland Friday night.

Police say the alleged gunman is still at large.

Prince George’s County Police told WTOP that the men were standing on a sidewalk in front of a store near Suitland Road, when another man walked up to the group and opened fire with a handgun.

Police say the man shot the group shortly before 11:30 p.m. — then ran away.

The victims, currently unidentified, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police aren’t sure why the gunman opened fire, and are still working to identify a suspect.
