LINTHICUM, Md. (AP) — Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is celebrating the addition of new service to Seattle.

On Tuesday, Alaska Airlines is starting new service between BWI and Seattle. The airline is adding a daily nonstop flight from Seattle to Baltimore and a nonstop evening flight from Baltimore to Seattle.

Alaska Airlines says the new service to Baltimore will complement its existing service to Washington’s Reagan National Airport from its West Coast hubs in Seattle, Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon.

To celebrate, the airline is offering introductory one-way fares of $169 for tickets purchased by Sept. 8.
