WASHINGTON — The record-breaking family favorite from 1996 starring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny may have a sequel in the works.

Who will attempt to the fill the large shoes of the legendary Chicago Bull?

It is believed to be four-time MVP and Miami Heat superstar, LeBron James.

However, an insider told USA Today that James had not participated in discussions regarding the sequel, and a Warner Bros. spokesperson has not confirmed James’ role.

It is uncertain whether the film would star other NBA stars similar to the original which featured Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, Shawn Bradley and Muggsy Bogues.

In a conflicting exclusive with Deadline Hollywood, Warner Bros. studio reportedly confirmed that Charlie Ebersol has been brought in to produce the picture with his production outlet, The Company.
